My Healing Update

Thank you everyone for all the beautiful prayers and love! My dear friend Bethany Webster took over the Women in Power Call to give me more free time so I can focus full time on my healing…I appreciate all the messages I’ve gotten!

Wanted to give you a quick update and I’ll be blogging more…as you may or may not know, four years ago I was diagnosed with a very aggressive condition called ameloblastoma, a tumor in my jaw that’s known to harm various parts of the body and grows so fast that one day one can chew and the jaw breaks. About 600 people a year get diagnosed with ameloblastoma. I’ve been on a beautiful healing journey, always focusing on being grateful and finding the gifts along the way which have been many.

I am one of the few people in the world that have been extremely blessed and was able to contain the tumor for four year and it didn’t grow one millimeter. As long as we contained it, we didn’t need to do the barbaric surgery of having to remove half my bottom jaw, wire shut my jaw for a few months, insert a metal rod for formation of the jaw again, go into my hip bone for a second surgery, do a transplant of bone, allow that to heal, and then a third surgery with titanium implants to replace the five or so teeth I would lose.

I think I got a little bit too confident and almost forgot about the tumor, since it was in a place in my jaw where it wasn’t bothering anything in my body.

Well, I went for a scan at Christmas time and by the measurements of the scan, we received the news that the tumor had almost doubled in size which was a big big shock (gulp) – had to get off social media a bit and swallow this one and figure out what to do. As many mis-diagnosis happen with multiple doctors and equipment, we kept trying to get a scan appt with my old doctor but due to the holidays we couldn’t get it til Dec. 31st. When we went in he unfortunately couldn’t compare that scan from my dentist to the three scans he previously had on record, because they were different machineries and would not be an apple to apple comparison. He said by the looks of it it probably did not double in size but we won’t know until we take yet another scan.

I committed I would blog about this journey to help others going through pain and help them conquer. I feel I have conquered regardless of what’s happening right now. I know this condition will bring more and more gifts though this update. I’m probably one of the few people that was able to stop this tumor holistically and also with a lot of healing of trauma from my old past which stress and trauma feed the condition (read the book by Louise Hay You Can Heal Your Life it’s miraculous and shows each area of the body and how it’s connected to specific ailments and things people go through).

For those of you going through pain or disease, you MUST feel the anger or frustration or depth of emotions related to that situation. If you skip through the anger or those emotions and just try to get to the gift, it will store that anger in your body and you must let it out. Hit the pillow, go the beach and scream, go to a forest or let it out but you must allow yourself to feel the anger and those deep emotions as this is what creates the transformation of your body. Then you can find the gifts and be grateful for all the lessons and growth that the situation is bringing.

I’m so so blessed. I have a beautiful thriving business that allows me to take time off and the most supportive husband Dave Ulloa for supporting me on this healing journey 100%, so I will be taking a few months from working and just focusing on healing and this new chapter of my life. So…I won’t be speaking around the country or the world for a few months and won’t be working. My doctor recommended lots of fun things that fill my soul, things that make me happy, like travel, dancing, singing, hiking, etc.

I am so blessed I get to focus on this full time. I’ll be blogging about what holistic methods I find along the way to share with everyone. Already getting juicy information. A last resort will be the surgery. I’m not closing that door but I need to get more clarification first on what’s going on with the tumor.

Thank you everyone for all your support and love. Thank you to all my business leaders for taking on tasks so I don’t have to work and can just focus on this full time.

I know there will be beautiful gifts popping from this journey, I kicked ass once (yes I said it!) and I will kick ass again. This is about getting real. About expressing the juice of my emotions. Am I angry? Of course. This was a big interruption. Will I get through it? For sure. I was made to conquer and have victory!

Can’t wait to blog about my journey and also about the fun things I encounter along the way! Love and blessings everyone!

Much love and gratitude,

Yvette Ulloa

Yvette, you are one amazing inspiration that makes me very proud to be a Latina. I know one of the reasons I was to be in WV was to learn from women like you. I know my calling is in the holistic healing area, & I knew WV would be a tool to get to where I know I’m supposed to be. but I’ve been given a much bigger vision, comparable to WV, but I hadn’t realized the way God would use this business to help me grow in so many ways, it blows my mind! You are an amazing vehicle that is helping thousands, and because you are allowing yourself to be so, your blessings are just overflowing in your vortex as you live through this which we know is only temporary. I’ve met you a couple of times in San Antonio & at a United a couple of years ago & I knew you were set aside for HUGE things. I know you know that, but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being as you are. I send you lots of love, light, total healing & abundant blessings for you & Dave!

Hi Yvette!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I have had my own health journey to walk when I was diagnosed with a rare disease called Cryoglobulinemia back in 2007! At first it was a difficult process being that I was in my mid 20s and had never been hospitalized before aside from when I was a newborn. But I praise God for His peace because it’s been through my faith in Him that I have been able to continue forward. I still have to see my doctors but everything continues to be in remission. So thankful for your leadership and mentorship in the business. I look forward to celebrating your victory!!!! Love and blessings! Rochelle.

    Hi,

I was recently diagnosed with Amelo myself. I have my surgery scheduled for next month. The surgery does not have to be as invasive or as traumatic. I found a wonderful surgeon in Miami who specializes in Jaw tumors. He is a pioneer in treating these tumors using state of the art techniques. Check him out ! His name is Dr Robert E Marx. He sees patients at Jackson South Community Hospital in Miami, FL.

  32. FLAmelo says:

BTW you can also look into Alan Herford in loma Linda. Good luck
